Pho Van is renowned for its vibrant and flavorful dishes, with Pho Tai (beef pho) leading the charge as a customer favorite. The pho broth is aromatic and rich, pairing perfectly with tender slices of beef. But pho isn't the only thing they excel at. If you're in the mood for something light and fresh, their Spring Rolls (Goi Cuon) are a must-try – packed with shrimp, fresh herbs, and wrapped in soft rice paper, these rolls offer a delightful contrast to the hearty noodles. Not to mention their Egg Rolls (Cha Gio), which are crispy, golden, and filled with savory pork or chicken – ideal for an appetizer or a satisfying snack.

For something with a bit more depth, the Roast Duck Noodle Soup is a standout, offering a deliciously crispy duck atop a bowl of steaming noodles and rich broth. If you’re a fan of chicken, Pho Ga is another comforting choice, with tender chicken pieces floating in a flavorful broth alongside fresh herbs and noodles. Whatever you order, you’re in for a treat!

The vibe at Pho Van is perfect for any casual outing – it’s a bit noisy, making it great for groups or a fun family meal. First time here and I didn't order coz I saw Bun Bo Hue. This is more of the classic spicy beef and pork soup that I loved when I was in Vietnam. Overall, it was good but could have been better. The broth needed a little bit of seasoning and umami flavor. The big big difference is that in Vietnam, they use real pork hock which gives that velvety broth flavor. They used a pork patty which tasted good. Service was quick. Ample parking.

Service was fast after ordering. Pho and summer rolls were delicious. Broth was tasty and very generous with the beef and tendons. We also ordered the spring rolls. One of the rolls was undercooked and staff was VERY apologetic about it and even didn't charge me for it. I still would go back again!

Food: 4/5 I've tried the Ban Mi sandwich before at an event and I had to go back and check out some more foods. My partner got Pho Tom and I got the #26, sweet and sour chicken and almond chicken. I didn't really like the sauce on the almond chicken but the sweet and sour one was good. the chicken is severely fried and they are big chunks. The food came out piping hot which I love, but the food was a bit unhealthy for me, I'd probably stick to the bahn mi next time. Ambiance: 2.5/5 The restaurant was pretty dirty. There were dirty fingerprint stains on the door to come in, the walls/picture frames had splattered food all over them and the tables had a glass top but with a gap in between so there was a lot of food/sauce/crumbs in between the table top and the glass which was honestly disgusting to me. I couldn't trust any of the condiments on the table because of the state of it. Service: Our server ordered with us pretty quickly but then it started to pickup with many more people coming in and we were waiting around for a while, had to get our own food trays which was okay because they are in the center of the restaurant but we had to end up going up to the counter to pay which may be how they do it, we just didn't know. Overall If i were to come again I would stick to something standard like bahn mi or pho and I would take it to go, so I can use my own condiments, cups, silverware.

Okay I'm really giving this like 4.8 but a well deserved 5 stars. The Pho was probably the best we have had in town. The staff was really nice, and flexible about my order. It also came out really fast! The restaurant was pretty typical for any GOOD pho place, lots of seating, and a little hectic. I'm not totally sure what they were wiping the tables down with.. but it did have a weird smell - hence the 4.8

I live in an area where pho restaurants are in abundance. I know great pho from mediocre. Pho Van is the real deal and Spokane is fortunate to have it. The broth is very flavorful and the noodle texture is just right. Highly recommend it. My mom got the shrimp Chow Fun. This was also fabulous with loads of shrimp and vegetables. We would definitely get this again as well. Service was fast and friendly. Will absolutely patronize again when we next visit Spokane.
